Driven by social and ecological sustainability and distinctive manufacturing processes, Sling & Stones offers certified organic Supima denim loomed in a small production denim mill in Okayama, Japan.

Highlighted with unique aesthetic qualities such as 24kt gold plated buttons, stylized yokes, and 24kt gold plated embroidery thread; Sling & Stones offers you true luxury, eco-premium denims. Their ambitions of being socially responsible, all Sling & Stones pocket bags and binding fabric use certified fair trade, organic, hand picked Tanguis cotton from Peru.

Sling & Stones denim is made of American-grown organic Supima cotton, one of the finest and rarest natural fibers on earth. Their jeans are virtually pesticide-free, unlike the average cotton jeans which contain 27% harmful chemicals, and ozone washed.

The organic Supima fiber is spun into yarn and then hand-loomed by a small family-run Japanese mill, with some fabric taking an entire day to produce a single roll. The cost of the fabric alone is more than the entire cost of producing most other "premium" jeans.

The twill for the pocket bag lining is made of organic Fair Trade cotton, grown on the farms of Peru. Our supplier programs in Peru (1) help poor farmers, who previously were forced to grow cocaine, (2) generate electricity for the nearby villages, and (3) donate proceeds back into the local communities.

Fair Trade ensures workers are paid enough to care for their families, put food on the table, and send their children to school.

The twill and denim are accessorized by genuine 24k gold plated hardware and zari thread, handcrafted by skilled artisans in India. The jeans are then assembled in Sling & Stones' own factory, where production quality is second to none. In an effort to ensure that the employees are safe, happy, and healthy, Sling and Stone sponsors weekly factory visits by doctors and other specialists. After discovering that many of the employees were traveling too far to get to work, Sling and Stone constructed subsidized housing for them. This is only the beginning of what they have planned.

Finally, each jean is finished and inspected by Sling and Stone personally before it reaches boutiques and finds its way into the hands of responsible and loving individuals such as yourself.

A percentage of Sling & Stones' profits will be used to immunize villagers in Peru, fight teen suicide in Japan, and build an orphanage and youth rehabilitation center in India.
