1. Start with the wide end about a foot (or 3 buttons) below the narrow end. Remember the alignment in case you need to re-tie the knot. |

2. Take the wide end and loop it back underneath narrow end. |

3. Wrap the wide end around the thin end and slip the wide end through the knot. |

4. Hold the front of the knot loosely with your index finger and bring wide end down through front loop. |

5. Pull the narrow and wide end alternatively to tighten and adjust the knot. |

6. When the knot is tight slide the knot up to the neck. Do a final adjusting (if necessary). Don't forget the dimple. Place your index finger under the knot and gently squeeze in the sides of the tie as you tighten the knot. |
